How to paint colored glass jars
You will not need a lot of time or many materials and the result is very good. You can use all kinds of glass jar to decorate and in the colors you want. The result is as we see in the image below. They are very pretty and decorative.
Clean glass jar
Step by Step
In a clean glass container you put glue and food coloring. You can try different colorants and proportions to achieve the color that you like the most. For example, if you add a teaspoon of cola, two drops of blue food coloring, and one drop of green food coloring, you will achieve a turquoise hue. If you add yellow to red, you will achieve an orange color, blue with red will give you a purple.
Then you must add a little water and mix with a brush. The mixture should be neither too thick nor too liquefied, it should have the consistency that most paints have, that is, easy to apply and spread. Place the mixture inside the jar.
The bottle begins to be painted. You can do this with a paintbrush or simply by moving the jar up and down, letting the glue spread throughout the jar.
Turn the jar upside down and put the lid on to let the residue drip off and remain in it. In this way we ensure that it will be perfect, without jets or drops. The paint will dry in a matter of minutes, and it will become transparent, since the glue when drying becomes translucent.
Finally, you will have a jar ready to decorate. You can use them to place flowers, keep pencils or a lot of utilities that you can think of. As you can see, it is very easy to do, fast and very economical.
